Today the weather was not all that suitable for walking or sight-seeing. We are still waiting for the heavy rain we have been promised but it is relatively cold compared with what we have been used to and windy. It is so chilly that we had to resort to wearing long pants for the first time in I don't know how long.
I was not feeling all that well this morning, something to do with spending too much time bending over working on caravan things too soon after breakfast. I improved considerably as the day went on and I am now feeling completely well. However, it was another reason for not going out and about.
So we have spent the day indoors, having a rest, watching a bit of television and reading books, as well as doing this post. I have to say it has been a nice change and a very restful way of spending the day.
I might spend the rest of the day doing a bit of research regarding next year's trip.
I am beginning to hear the odd rain drop hitting the caravan windows, so perhaps the promised rain is not too far off after all.
Bev is telling me that it is Wine O'Clock so I had better go. Thankfully, there are some things that are not weather-dependant.
