Day 33 ended up just as well as it started. We made it to Bunnings and then on to "Centro" a big shopping complex just up the road from Airlie Beach. We had a look around there and then came back to another, slightly smaller (I'm talking Cooleman Court smaller) looking for the Post Office and whatever else was on offer. We happened to walk past "Buck's Fish Shop" and that was it. Fish and Chips for lunch. Very nice but I didn't think it was as good as the Fisher fish shop. We occupied the rest of the day doing a few chores around the van (well, I did, Bev read a book). I managed to fix that water drip, it took TWO "O" rings and I think I will still have to replace the fitting on the end the hose, but things are much better than they were.
Now I know all you people in Canberra and Numeralla have been experiencing some cold weather. However, I have to tell you that last night it got so cold here (21 degrees C) that we had to put on our jeans. How's that for suffering!
We are not doing much today, just having a rest. We went into AB this morning for a coffee and to book a cruise out to the Whitsunday Islands for Wednesday. We will be visiting Daydream, Hamilton and Whitsunday Islands. Tomorrow is going to be just as restful. The two main things on the agenda for tomorrow are a visit to the hairdresser for Bev and then lunch at a very nice trattoria overlooking the beach (this morning's coffee stop).
No photos today, but I may have some tomorrow weather and light permitting. I plan to go out with the camera while Bev is having her hair done.
