Day 62 Coffs Harbour

Good weather today.  Temperature was in the low twenties, no rain and sunny.  So we took the opportunity to drive in to Coffs Harbour.  Coffs is actually 33 kms south of where we are staying at Darlington Park, Arrawarra.  However, the road between here and Coffs is exceptionally good.   The last time we were here it was still being duplicated and the journey was very slow to say the least. However, it now finished and is a dual line, divided highway with a 110 kph speed limit, so we were there in no time.

Coffs itself was its usual busy, bustling self.  However, with the able assistance of the lady in the Information Centre, we found our way to the Marina and the coffee shops.  After fortifying ourselves with a good coffee, we went for a wander around the marina and harbour wall, taking some photos and enjoying the view.  We then drove up to the new and very large Park Beach Shopping Centre.  By the time we got there we had driven through the greater part of Coff's.

This afternoon, we enjoyed the luxury of sitting around under the caravan awning doing nothing but watching the kangaroos grazing on the grass and feeling the warmth of the sun.  We have to make the most of this, it is not going to continue for much longer,

Here are a few photos.
