Well, winter has really caught up with us. A maximum of 17 today and it has been raining cats and dogs all day. It is forecast to continue raining for another 24 hours and we are expecting another 75 to 155 mm in that time.
The only time we ventured out today was to go to the movies in Ballina. We saw "The 100 foot Journey". It has a charming story with a happy ending and is a travel and foodies movie "par excellence". Go and see it.
Once we got back to the caravan park we buttoned ourselves up in the van and we are not going out again until the rain stops. Right now it has eased off a bit but we can hear thunder rolling in. Up til now the rain has been so heavy we have hardly been able to hear our TV. I wonder how much sleep we get tonight.
We were not able to catch up with our friends, the Millers, yesterday because of the weather or today because of a funeral and they are having family members visit them on Friday. So, it may be difficult to see them in person before we leave.
So that's about it for today. No photos I'm afraid.
