Bev went off and had her hair done. I don't think she was all that pleased but I thought it looked great. While she was at the hairdressers I took a few photos around AB. But then the weather closed in and I remembered that we still had washing on the line. So I hightailed it back to the van park. Fortunately, the weather threat came to nothing and the washing didn't get wet.
After a coffee we went for a drive to Shute Harbour just to see what it was like. We found that there is not a lot to Shute Harbour, just a couple of wharves catering for the Whitsunday boat trade and many boat moorings. There is also some accommodation available.
Here are a few photos. Sorry about the weather.

Hiya. Sorry I' haven't commented for a few days. I've been fairly busy with Chris' project, so I've just been catching up this morning with all you've been doing since Mackay.
ReplyDeleteWhat a trip you're having. I was so glad that you had such a good catch up with the Hills, and that I thought to suggest it to her and give her the link. The Whitsundays section sounded fantastic. We had a stupendous win on Friday night. It was my Premiership, and they were carrying our name!! Sad news this morning about the death of Robyn Williams. He was always such a typical Bi Polar wasn't he. I guess we only saw the manic end, but you always knew that there had to be the other, poor man. Your blog is such a lovely relief from the daily news these days, especially of the nothing less that satanic behaviour in the Middle East. Do continue to enjoy and bring all those lovely memories home to share with us all. Stay safe. Much love xoxo
