I know that yesterday I said that today we were going to go into the national park and have a close-up look at Uluru and Kata Tjuta.
Well, that didn't happen. This morning we decided to have a quiet day instead and I am very glad we did. We both felt that we could do with a rest and so this morning we did nothing more than sit in the sun and enjoy a cup of coffee and a long chat with our next-door neighbours.
This afternoon, we caught the resort shuttle bus into the shopping centre. After having a bit of a wander about, we joined the audience for a performance by a traditional indigenous dance troupe. As well as being an insightful cultural event, it was also really good fun with a fair bit of audience participation.
Tomorrow we are really going to try and get to the national park. I hope we don't get distracted.
Here are some of today's pictures. I had also taken some of Uluru and Kata Djuta from the caravan park but they were not good enough to show here.
